Cruel Valentine

Cruel Valentine is appearing live with SPARK at EXXXOTICA 2026. Cruel Valentine is a sex worker and performing artist, as well as an attorney and consultant serving the business and intellectual property needs of the arts, entertainment, and adult industries. They advocate for and educate on adult industry issues, including sex work decriminalization, labor rights, and other policy matters. Valentine approaches this work from an intersectional, holistic perspective, rooted solidly in both lived experience and empirical research. They hold a JD with certificates in Intellectual Property and Art & Museum Law from DePaul, an MA in Arts Management and a BA in Musical Theatre from Columbia College Chicago, and a certificate in Diversity & Inclusion from Cornell.
