What to Expect at EXXXOTICA: A First-Timer’s Guide
EXXXOTICA is the largest adult entertainment expo in the United States. The last Minneapolis edition ran June 26 to 28, 2026, at the Minneapolis Convention Center, with a show floor alive with performers, exhibitors, seminars, products, and tantalizing entertainment.

What Is EXXXOTICA?
EXXXOTICA is a three-day adult convention centered on adult entertainment, sexual education, products, creator appearances, and live programming. It pushes the limits and ignites passion and curiosity with weird and wonderful parts of the expo running throughout each day.
What Kind of Event Is It?
People have called EXXXOTICA a porn convention or a sex convention, but this adult expo goes beyond that.
The floor brings together a whirlwind of shopping, brand displays, fan interactions, educational areas, demonstrations, and scheduled entertainment. You can browse booths, meet adult creators, watch a demonstration, sit in on a seminar, or relax and enjoy the many stage performances.
Who Can Attend and Age Rules
Age and ID Requirements
General Admission starts strictly at age 18, while VIP admission starts at 21. Be sure to check the age requirement for the ticket that you’re buying.
A valid ID is non-negotiable, regardless of whether you have a confirmation email to show us at the door, so be sure to bring that along!
Bringing a Partner or Group
Anyone over 18 is welcome! EXXXOTICA is open to people exploring with a partner, coming with friends, or enjoying the expo solo.
What Happens on the Floor
The floor brings together performers, creator appearances, exhibitors, adult products, demonstrations, meet-and-greets, and entertainment of all shapes, sizes, and interests.
Performers and Signings
EXXXOTICA features adult stars, webcam models, creators, and other industry personalities. Fans can meet their favorite performers for signings, photos, autographs, and face-to-face interactions throughout the expo.
The individual performer or their company may set pricing and availability, so check the performer’s page or ask before joining a queue.
Exhibitors and Vendors
The exhibitors and vendors cover adult products, clothing, accessories, online services, sexual health, creator tools, and specialist communities.
Some booths are made for shopping, while others give visitors the chance to discover services, meet brands, see demonstrations, or find fun products and fascinating companies.
Seminars, Shows and After Parties
Seminars
The seminars cover topics including sexual health, consent, adult-industry careers, relationships, kink, creator business, and performer experiences.
Many include live book readings and Q&As with famous adult performers, discussions around relationships, fetishes, and exploring the world of new and exciting escapades – there is something for everyone and lots to learn!
General Admission includes the educational seminars, so check the event schedule before you arrive and plan it into your visit if there’s a session you don’t want to miss.
Stage Shows
The Chaturbate Main Stage hosts live entertainment throughout the weekend. These can include acts like burlesque, drag, fashion, kink and leather performances, specialty acts, and live competitions to get you involved.
The main stage is included with General Admission, so you’ll have access to all of the performances at any point.
After Parties
Official after parties continue the EXXXOTICA weekend after the daytime expo closes.
VIP admission may include entry to qualifying official after parties, but individual events can have their own admission, age, ID, and venue rules – check those out before planning to paint the town red.
How to Plan Your First Visit
To plan your first visit, choose the right admission tier, check the event schedule, bring valid photo ID, and read the official code of conduct before you arrive.
Tickets and Passes
General Admission includes access to the show floor, educational seminars, and main stage entertainment. VIP packages add extra benefits, including access to the official after-party.
Some specialist areas or additional programming may require a separate upgrade. The Dungeon All-Access option, for example, provides access to additional Dungeon programming beyond the main Dungeon Experience included with admission.
The Code of Conduct
We’re raunchy, but we have rules. Our official code of conduct centers on consent, safety, and respectful public behavior.
EXXXOTICA has a zero-tolerance policy for physical or sexual assault, unwelcome physical contact, harassment, and harassing photography. If someone declines to pose for a photo, don’t take one.
Public nudity and sexual activity are not permitted at the convention. The policy also applies to attendees, exhibitors, speakers, guests, staff, and other participants at the convention and connected EXXXOTICA events.
Tips for a Good First Visit
- Check the schedule before you go and mark the appearances, shows, or seminars you don’t want to miss.
- Bring valid photo ID and make sure your ticket tier matches your age.
- Ask before taking photographs, touching anyone, or joining an interactive activity. Always.
- Wear comfortable shoes – you’ll need them!
