Siouxsie Q

Siouxsie Q is appearing live with Hot2Vote at EXXXOTICA 2026.
Siouxsie Q is an award winning media maker whose work spans the genres of journalism, film, literature, and theatre. She began her career in the adult industry at the unionized, worker owned San Francisco peep show–the legendary Lusty Lady Theatre, where she was given a crash course in third wave feminism, worker rights, and queer community organizing over the course of the year she worked there, eventually serving on the theatre’s Board of Directors. Now a veteran of many genres of adult work, and appearing in over one hundred adult films her writing and perspectives have been featured in a dozens of publications including Rolling Stone, Wired, BBC, NBC, The Sacramento Bee, Univision, The New York Times, and in her column “The Whore Next Door” for the San Francisco Weekly which ran for over four years.
She created one of the first successful sex work themed podcasts, The WhoreCast, which ran from 2012 until 2017, was beloved by many, and sought to humanize workers in the adult industry by showcasing their stories, art, and voices.
She has also devoted her life to advocacy as an organizer, holding leadership positions at the ACLU of Southern California, the Free Speech Coalition, the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee and PASS Certified (the adult industry’s health and safety non-profit). In 2016, alongside countless allies and community members, she led the winning campaign to defeat California’s Proposition 60, which many say would have decimated the state’s adult film industry, and placed thousands of already vulnerable workers in even greater precarity. During the 2024 election, she helped organize dozens of adult film stars to speak out against Project 2025 and get out the vote via the award winning “Hands off my Porn” campaign that reached millions.
Her most recent project, Hot2Vote.org, utilizes the power of content creators to spread the word about voter purging in swing states such as Georgia, building off the powerful voter enfranchisement work she started in 2018 when she collaborated with Stormy Daniels to register voters at her strip club and eventually comedy appearances in both red and blue states all across the country.
