The Stage Shows at EXXXOTICA Minneapolis: Burlesque, Boylesque & the Pole Competition
The EXXXOTICA Minneapolis 2026 expo turned the Minneapolis Convention Center into a whirl of sequins, leather, pole tricks, and engaging contests. The lineup strutted its stuff with fun burlesque and boylesque acts, drag performances, the Global Kink & Leather Showcase presented by CircuitMOM, the All Bodies Matter Fashion Show, and two live competitions.
The EXXXOTICA Minneapolis Stage
The EXXXOTICA Minneapolis Expo ran from June 26–28, 2026, marking the brand’s first stop in the Twin Cities and landing the same weekend as Twin Cities Pride.
How the Stage Program Ran
The main entertainment stage, sponsored by Chaturbate, was hosted by Emcee J. Randall and DJ Geenius, who have both expertly served as EXXXOTICA’s Stage hosts since 2012, keeping the action moving from one tantalizing performance to the next!

What Is a Burlesque Show?
A burlesque show is a theatrical variety act that uses eccentric costumes, stagecraft, musical numbers, and humorous storytelling to enthrall the audience. Each act brings its own flair and fun to the stage, with a few naughty surprises in between!
Where Burlesque Came From
Theatrical burlesque became popular in 19th-century Britain as a form of comedic parody that poked fun at serious literature and theater. In the United States, it evolved into a variety show combining humor, music, showgirls, and striptease. Traditional American burlesque declined from the 1940s onward as legal crackdowns squeezed venues and more explicit adult entertainment became more available. Neo-burlesque revived the art form in the 1990s and 2000s, introducing a new generation of camp eccentricity and feathery flirtation that we get to enjoy in burlesque performances today!
What Happens in a Modern Burlesque Act?
A modern burlesque act brings together a variety of characters and costumes that fit the naughty narrative. The performance may combine music, dance, props, costume reveals (pasties included, of course), and playful audience interaction to create sultry, campy humor and entertainment.
At EXXXOTICA Minneapolis, Dare to Tease delighted the crowd with six performers in a showcase produced by Dare Taylor and Miss Spent Youth.
Boylesque, Drag & Alternative Acts
Boylesque, drag, and alternative acts added to the magic of the expo, with plenty to marvel at and gather inspiration from. Amone Bane brought Mr. Banes Boylesque to the event, while CircuitMOM’s showcase celebrated kink and leather culture.
Boylesque & Drag
Boylesque is a form of male or male-presenting burlesque that plays with masculinity and gender expression with artistic flair. At EXXXOTICA Minneapolis, Amone Bane performed Mr. Banes Boylesque, combining sensual performance with athletic movement, grace, and power.
Vanniall delivered a feature drag performance with lip-syncing favorites, choreography, gorgeous costumes, and audience interaction, all in a daring showcase!
The Kink & Leather Showcase
The Global Kink & Leather Showcase, presented by CircuitMOM, brought queer performance and fetish culture onto the main stage and included performances by Duke Pup, Rustina Nuttz, Tristan King, and Domita.
The showcase combined exquisite drag, leather culture, and theatrical performance, introducing onlookers to the visual language and self-expression found within kink and leather communities.
The All Bodies Matter Fashion Show
The All Bodies Matter Fashion Show put body positivity on the runway, featuring models of different sizes, genders, ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Hosted by Platinum Puzzy, also known as Kari Anthony, the event challenged the idea that sexy fashion belongs to any single stereotype.
The Pole Competition & Ms. EXXXOTICA
The EXXXOTICA Pole Competition and Ms. EXXXOTICA Competition, which is a staple of the expos since the very beginning 21 years ago, turned the main stage into a live contest space. Entrants performed for official titles and the hearts of the audience.
How the EXXXOTICA Pole Competition Worked
The pole dancing competition was open to all genders and skill levels. Contestants performed live on the main stage, showcasing strength, endurance, creativity, and acrobatic movement as they competed for the title of Pole Champion. It featured two rounds on Saturday and Sunday, and awarded the winner $500.
The Ms. EXXXOTICA Competition
The Ms. EXXXOTICA Competition has been part of the expo since its launch in 2006. The two-night contest brought performers together to compete for the official Ms. EXXXOTICA title.
The pageant combined beauty and talent with eroticism, elegance, and sex appeal.

What to Wear to Future Expos
While EXXXOTICA is open-minded, we do have a dress code for our attendees. Come dressed as fabulous as you’d like, or as casually as you feel fit, with some comfy shoes so that you can walk the expo floor for as long as you’d like without the blisters. Keep it classy with no public nudity. Weapons are prohibited; replica firearms must have an orange tip and be inspected. Security may inspect or remove weapons or props, so keep that in mind when you’re taking accessories to the expo.

Fans and visitors can expect music, interactions, teasing performances, familiar adult entertainers, talented acts, and so many more unforgettable moments!
The main stage is part of the wider expo, where visitors can linger if they choose to, move on to another feature, or return for a competition.
