Lotus Lain is a globally recognized voice in consent, sex workers’ rights, self-advocacy, and intimacy. Throughout her 14+ year career, she has been a dominatrix, Hall of Fame adult performer, writer, speaker, producer, activist, and intimacy coordinator. Her work has taken her to SXSW, Showtime, Netflix, and the UN in Geneva and New York, where she has spoken on trafficking and discrimination against LGBTQ people. Lotus continues to make an impact as an industry advocate for the Free Speech Coalition, vice president of DecrimSexWorkCalifornia, and a sought-after intimacy coordinator for mainstream TV and film.

J. Handy

J. Handy is the CEO and Founder of Three Xpo Events and creator of EXXXOTICA, the largest and longest-running adult consumer event in the United States. A Philadelphia-based Vermont native, Handy entered the trade show industry in New York City in 2001. At 25, he founded Victory Tradeshow Management, which later became Three Xpo Events. In 2006, he brought EXXXOTICA to life with a critically acclaimed debut in Miami Beach. He has since produced more than 70 consumer events nationwide. A University of Rhode Island graduate, childhood cancer survivor, and former Make-A-Wish recipient, Handy has created bold events that challenge convention, push boundaries, and inspire much-needed conversations.

Melodie co-directs New Moon Network, a funding & capacity-building collective advancing sex workers’ rights in the U.S. Her creative and professional work draws from over 15 years in social justice—spanning advocacy, philanthropy, and movement-building. With a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Washington, she blends research and artistry to reimagine care, community, and freedom.
