Meet Kay Black
Kay (they/she) is a queer Black educator, performer, safe(r) space facilitator, and community world builder dedicated to creating liberatory spaces where people can connect, explore, and thrive. Since 2022, they have founded & co-run KinkyBlack House, a QTBIPOC-centered kink space committed to joy, safety, autonomous consensual pleasure, and community growth. They also co-founded/co-ran The Ivy Chicago, a BIPOC-led and centered rope studio that offers education, performance, and space for creative expression from 2023 to 2025. As of 2025, Kay operates as co-director of BKA Weekend, an annual BIPOC exclusive kink conference.
